Founded in 2017, Dreamcatchers began its journey as a VFX studio in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a vision to push the boundaries of visual effects in Southeast Asia. In just two years, Dreamcatchers became a key creative force behind some of Indonesia’s most iconic and visually groundbreaking films, including Gundala, Gatot Kaca, and Sri Asih.
As the VFX industry continues to evolve, so do we. Dreamcatchers is expanding its expertise into a full-scale production house for advertising, and we’ve launched our own channels for social media content creation. The landscape is changing, and we are leading the charge.

Oscar has 13 years in the Visual Effects industry, winning 3 Best Visual Effects awards at Festival Film Indonesia, ensuring top-tier simulations and renders as a 3D generalist.
Fakhrian Hakim
Founder / Director
With 13 years in VFX for movies and TVCs in Indonesia, he won 2 Festival Film Indonesia awards. His VFX Artist and Director background ensures hands-on involvement throughout projects.
Firman Sasongko
Founder / Art Director
Firman, also known as ‘Mbet,’ brings 17 years of experience in Art, Animation, and VFX to deliver unique storytelling and visuals. His technical and creative approach shapes every Dreamcatchers project.
Vita Anggraini
Founder / Producer
Vita, with 17 years as a producer in Indonesian Post Production, ensures smooth production and strong communication between artists and clients, meeting all schedules and deadlines at Dreamcatchers.
Maxim Mayanov
Director
Maxim, a Director, VFX Compositor, Writer, and Editor, uses his multidisciplinary experience to craft compelling storytelling. His strong foundation elicits unique emotional responses in his work.
